Music Composer & Graphic Artist


Composition and music production, audio design, concept art, illustration, graphic design… It's a lot of things, for sure, I just couldn't resist the temptation to explore as many kind of arts as I could, especially when it comes to audiovisual. After several years working in a large variety of projects, including illustration, graphic design, music composition and multimedia creation, I met Luis Antón, with whom I founded a videogame developing group called Medusa. We are working hard in this project trying to create inspiring and high-quality games as well as offering art and software services to third parties.Besides, I try not to miss a chance of working in any interesting audiovisual project, specially when it implies music composition or concept art creation for, but not limited to, Film, TV, and videogames.



Music composing and production

When I start composing, i begin with an idea, an emotion (usually a mix of both) or a visual base. Scoring is done in Sibelius and Cubase, relying on my Korg SP-170 BK digital piano in the process. Vienna Instruments (and a lot of work) brings the score to life: defining each phrase (or even each note) of every single instrument by switching between articulations in order to obtain a good performance, adjusting dynamics, tempo and room acoustics are just some of the many things to do. The final step is mastering, a big one, and not less important.


Illustration and graphics

A sketch book, some pencils and my Wacom Intuos 4 tablet, in combination with programs like Corel Painter, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, are all that i need in order to manage all graphics work. A usual place to start is also a piece of paper and a pen, the rest will come by itself. Of course, the nature of each type of work often requires specific techniques, methods or programs, but basically it's all about creativity and hard work.
